Collection très importante de Monnaies Romaines formée par Sir Arthur J. EVANS - Youlbury near Oxford. The first 968 lots contain some very nice Greek and Roman coins from the Burrage collection and others. The second part of the sale contains the very important collection of Roman coins, formed by Sir Arthur Evans, and there is a page of introduction to this section by L. Forrer. Another spectacular sale from Jacob Hirsch at Ars Classica.

CONDITION
The catalog has been nicely bound with hard blue covers that hinge along the spine allowing for ease of opening. The original card covers were not retained. The Estimations sheets have also been bound in. The text and plates contain the very occasional annotation but are for the most part clean and pleasing.
