Adolph Hess / Bank Leu - Sale 49. Ancient Coins. The April 1971 auctions 49 (Ancient Coins) and 50 (Switzerland / Germany, not offered here) were the last in a remarkable joint series of sales from Adolph Hess (Luzern) and Bank Leu (Zurich) that had begun back in 1954. This catalog offers the Desneux collection of ancient coins. There are 28 plates + 3 enlargement plates. 15 plates are Greek and 9 Roman (mostly Imperial).

CONDITION
The glossy card covers are a little dirty and the spine bumped and tattered at the bottom and top. Otherwise clean and unmarked throughout.
