Description Tetradrachm circa 425, AR 17.31 g. Laureate head of Apollo r. Rev. ΛEONT – IN – ON Lion’s head r., with jaws open and tongue protruding; around, four barley grains. Rizzo pl. XXIV, 15 (these dies). Boston 284 (this obverse die). SNG ANS 248 (these dies). Kraay-Hirmer pl. 9, 26 (this obverse die). Boehringer, Studies Price, pl. 13, 67 (this coin). Rare.
