Description Hieron I. 478-466 BC. AR Tetradrachm (23mm, 17.13 g, 2h). Struck circa 478-475 BC. Charioteer driving quadriga right; above, Nike flying right, crowning horses / Diademed head of Arethusa right; four dolphins around. Boehringer series VIIIa, 138 (V62/R95); SNG ANS –; Randazzo 296 (same dies); SNG München 941 (same dies). Near VF, toned, traces of find patina.
