Description Circa 475/0-455/0 BC. AR Didrachm (20mm, 8.72 g, 1h). Hound advancing right, on the scent / Head of the nymph Segesta right, wearing tainia, within incuse circle. Hurter, Didrachmenprägung 6a (V1/R6 – this coin); SNG ANS 617 (same obv. die). VF, toned, minor die wear on obverse, reverse a little off center. Well struck for issue. From the Robert and Julius Diez Collection. Ex Eduard Friedrich Weber Collection (Part I, J. Hirsch XXI, 16 November 1908), lot 647.
