Description 445-439 BC. AR Drachm (17mm, 3.97 g, 11h). Charioteer driving biga of mules right; above, Nike flying right, crowning horses; olive leaf and berry in exergue / Hare springing right within wreath. Caltabiano Series IX, 387 (D175/R169); SNG ANS 347; SNG Copenhagen 409; BMC 32; Hunterian 9; Pozzi 486 (all from the same dies). VF, toned, minor porosity, a couple shallow cuts on obverse. From the Robert and Julius Diez Collection. Ex Gustav Philipsen Collection (Part I, J. Hirsch XV, 28 May 1906), lot 1047.
