Description Circa 495-480/78 BC. AR Didrachm (19mm, 8.62 g, 10h). Eagle standing right / Crab within shallow incuse circle. Jenkins, Gela, Group III; SNG ANS 933 (same obv. die); C. Boehringer, “Der spätarchaische Münzfund von Comiso 1970” in SNR 89 (2010), 52 (same dies). Good Fine, dark cabinet tone, minor surface roughness, light cut at edge of obverse, light scuff on reverse. Rare.
