Description Circa 350-300 BC. AR Distater (26mm, 15.57 g, 1h). Helmeted head of Athena right, helmet decorated with Skylla throwing stone / Bull butting right; ΣIM above, race torch in exergue. Noe, Thurian L10 = SNG Lockett 496 = Weber 883 (this coin); HN Italy 1842; SNG ANS -; McClean 1269 (same obv. die). Good VF, toned, minor flan flaw on obverse. Very rare, the only example recorded from these dies. From the Colin E. Pitchfork Collection.
